Hilton Head is a food lovers paradise! We always have great food there so mixed in some favorites with some new places.

Lunch Saturday at Fish Camp…

Saturday eve was a lovely boat cruise with a nice selection of Lays chips and Miller Lites. https://htyc.com

We did a late night dinner from the little restaurant

Harbourside https://www.seapines.com/dining/restaurants-bars/harbourside right by where Gregg Russell was performing (if your ever in Hilton Head during peak seasons, Greg Russell is a must do if you have kids! It’s free and our kids have been going ever since that sat in the front row as toddlers in the early 2000s) was playing and ate and Tommy’s room up at the yacht club…

I had Ahi Steak Caesar and it was perfect! Everyone loved everything from burgers to hot dogs to fried shrimp!

The next day Mattie came in and we all played golf Monday and Tuesday… I shot 79 Monday and 81 on Tuesday and played pretty well

We interrupted this guys breakfast!

But First Monday night was Thai, I don’t even like Thai but Thai Smile https://www.thaismilecuisine.com/ was fire…this spicy New York strip w a glass of 14 Hands may change my mind!

Monday golf

Tuesday we played w my new buddy Ed! He served in Iraq and was first into Sadams Palace and took a duece in Sadams gold toilet! Badass!

Tuesday night I cooked up some filets…I got a 6 lbs. prime tenderloin from

Harris Teeter, prime was definately worth the premium price 26.99 vs 23.99 for choice. I was seriously limited on seasonings since we were in an Airbnb, but I got some fresh rosemary and fresh thyme and used sea salt and black pepper. I cooked them on a grill that was super hot. It was a great grill, cooking steaks 11 at a time of all different sizes was a bit of a challenge, they all ended rare, which was fine because of the premium meat. It was fantastic, although I probably would’ve cooked it longer if it was a lower grade cut. But I got rave reviews and there was no steak left over! I cooked up a little side of shiitake and Kimi mushrooms which happened to be especially in mine, and we served it with Caesar salad and shrimp from the previous night.

Wednesday night dinner at the club was maybe the best dinner I’ve had at the Club!

I probably shouldn’t eat again while I’m here!
